Influential Architecture

Marcella will offer exclusive access to an on-mountain clubhouse, designed by one of the world’s most influential architectural firms Olson Kundig. The Marcella Lodge will include ski-in ski-out concierge services, an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub, pickle ball courts, a fitness as well as a yoga studio and a multipurpose area with an arcade, golf simulator, lounge and bar.

About Tom Kundig

Over the past three decades, Tom Kundig has received some of the world’s highest design honors, including a National Design Award for Architecture from the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and an Academy Award in Architecture from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

In total, Kundig’s work has received over 200 awards, including 70 awards from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), spanning National Honor Awards, National Housing Awards and a COTE Top Ten Award. Kundig’s Shinsegae International received the World Architecture News Tall Buildings Award in 2017, and his Meg Home, Rolling Huts and Delta Shelter projects have all received Record House Awards. The Pierre was named the World Architecture News House of the Year in 2010. Kundig’s work has appeared in thousands of publications worldwide and on the covers of The New York Times magazine, ARCHITECT, Architectural Record, Architectural Digest and The Plan, among others. He is named in The Wallpaper* 150 as a key individual who has influenced, inspired and improved the way we live, work and travel.
